Schoolgirl who designed Easter egg for sister sees it become Aldi's latest treat

Naomi Martinez, an Enfield schoolgirl, emerged victorious in Aldi's Design an Easter Egg competition, selected from numerous applicants for her Dairyfine Ice Cream Egg design. Featuring a whimsical ice cream character topped with a strawberry drizzle, Naomi aimed to please her little sister with her creation. Apart from receiving Easter goodies, she visited Aldi's head office and expressed delight over her winning design, remarking on the craftsmanship and flavors. Her mother praised Naomi’s artistic talent, highlighting the pride in her daughter's achievement as her design will be available nationwide.
Naomi said: "I honestly can't believe I have won and now everyone will see my design in stores. The egg has turned out better than I could have ever imagined."
Naomi's mum, Louisa Martinez, added: "I'm so proud of Naomi for winning Aldi's Design an Egg competition. She has always been artistic, so it's amazing to see her talent being recognised."
