Del Taco has announced a collaboration with Danny Trejo's Trejo's Tacos to offer roasted pork al pastor, featuring tacos, loaded fries, a burrito, and quesadilla.
The new Al Pastor Street Tacos, priced at about $4.99, will be adorned with diced pineapple, onions, cilantro, and green sauce, aiming to entice taco lovers.
In an engaging promotional video, Danny Trejo appears holding a machete, reminiscent of his 2010 film, tying in his cinematic persona with the new menu.
To complement the al pastor offerings, Del Taco introduces a pineapple shake, as well as Sprite or lemonade embellished with pineapple chunks, enhancing the flavor experience.
