Couple replaces paper wedding invitations with edible alternative: 'Loaf at first sight'
Briefly

Jazmin Reyes and Miguel Sotto have gained viral attention for their innovative wedding invitations made from loaves of bread from Daniel Bakery in Manila. Collaborating with Bridal Brandbook, they aimed to create a memorable experience that departed from traditional paper invites, which Reyes often discarded. Each bread loaf featured the couple's wedding logo and essential details inside its packaging. Surprisingly, this unique approach proved cheaper than conventional invitations, inspiring many others considering similar creative alternatives for their own weddings.
I wanted the experience of our wedding to start with the invites, and we wanted something more unique than just paper.
Even the company who helped us produce this said that this was the first time they're doing this type of wedding invitation. Best part is it was half the price of paper invites.
I was looking at 7k+ for 200 invitations and it breaks my heart to think.
I would get invitations that are paper, and I would kind of toss them out or forget about them.
