Rui Hachimura believes Dalton Knecht will be 'great,' has told him to be himself

Halfway through the preseason, the Lakers' younger players have provided some of the brightest moments for the team, showcasing strong performances and potential.

"I like how he approaches the game; he's very aggressive. He's a great shooter...I want him to be more aggressive and just be himself," said Hachimura.

Knecht is leading the team in minutes played at 26.7 per game and ranks in the top four in points with 12 per game.

The Lakers rookie has been a net positive every time he's worn the purple and gold, showing flashes of potential despite typical rookie struggles.
