Purdue center Zach Edey is one of the biggest - literally and figuratively - players in the draft...Edey is scheduled for a workout with the Lakers before the draft and could be a real option for the team.
If Edey can give this team some good minutes and provide depth and quality at the center position, that'd be a huge addition to the Lakers... 62.3 percent from the field.
If the Lakers were to make such an aggressive move for Edey, it would signal to us that they loved his tape and how he looked in person so much that they see him as a player they can't pass up on.
Reports of the players the Lakers have been looking at have been few and far between, so even though this information does not come officially from the franchise, it's good to hear they're doing their due diligence.
