Winnie Harlow and NBA star Kyle Kuzma announced their engagement following a luxurious proposal in Turks and Caicos. Kuzma chartered a private jet filled with roses and planned the moment since their first visit to the island in 2022. During the romantic getaway, he read Harlow a poem that ended in his proposal. Harlow accepted before seeing the ring, an 8.5-carat oval-cut diamond designed by Kuzma. The engagement was celebrated with a surprise beachfront party attended by their families.
Kuzma's proposal was followed by a surprise engagement party that included both Harlow and Kuzma's families at a beachfront villa, complete with a DJ, dinner on the beach and fireworks.
I never really asked her what type of ring she liked or anything. I just wanted to draw a picture of what I felt resembled her - something that was elegant, but very timeless and simplistic.
