Mark Williams believes Lakers had second thoughts about trading for him
Briefly

The Lakers' recent game against the Hornets highlighted an awkward situation stemming from a rescinded trade involving Mark Williams. After Williams failed a physical, all players involved resumed their roles on their original teams, sparking a public relations dispute. Williams and his agent assert that his health was not the primary issue leading to the canceled trade. Without disclosure from the Lakers, the reasons behind the trade's collapse remain unclear, leaving the Hornets and Lakers to grapple with the fallout while both teams move forward individually.
I don't know if, for them, it was what they gave up, or what went into that. But I don't think it was solely because of my physical.
Unless the Lakers reveal Williams' physical, which is very illegal, this will just be the Lakers word against the Hornets word until Charlotte finally lets it go.
