LeBron James, Marcus Smart (achilles tendinopathy), Maxi Kleber (quad) and rookie Aduo Thiero (knee) also will not play against the Suns. Doncic scored 39 in his last game with Slovenia, a EuroBasket quarterfinal loss to Germany, and said he will take training camp a bit slower after a busy summer.
