After a 10-day break from play, the NHL regular season resumed with the Los Angeles Kings defeating the Utah Hockey Club 5-3. Despite the potential challenges of returning from a break, the Kings displayed strong energy and intensity throughout the game. Coach Jim Hiller acknowledged that it may take several games for players to regain their groove but emphasized the importance of being proactive in this process. The Kings aim to capitalize on their games in hand over division rivals to improve their standing.
