When Will Tommy Edman Debut With the Dodgers?
Briefly

"I think the hope is that he'll be with us Monday when we get home," Roberts said via MLB Network Radio. "Looking at the calendar, I'm sure Tommy wanted to play against his old club. But the rehab process, where he didn't play any defense basically this year, we wanted to get his legs under him. The rehab process kicks him to Monday. That's kind of the hope."
"Tommy is going to take a lot of his repetitions in center field," Roberts said. "He's going to take some at short, and he'll take some at second as well."
Edman has bounced around on defense in his rehab stint, playing center field on Thursday and shortstop on Wednesday. His ability to play several positions is a big reason why the Dodgers orchestrated the trade for him at the deadline.
Through four games with Oklahoma City, he's gone 4-for-12 at the plate. Edman was sent on a rehab assignment due to a lingering right wrist injury and a sprained ankle.
