Tyler Glasnow Is Only Focused On Building on Continued Good Starts With Dodgers
Briefly

It's great. (I'm just) trying to piece them all together and have a good start after good start. It's the only thing I'm focused on. I think a lot of the other stuff that comes with it is awesome, but I think for the most part, I'm just trying to pitch well every time I get the ball, and I think all that stuff will follow. - Tyler Glasnow via Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register
In both quantity and quality, Glasnow has been the ace the Dodgers were hoping for when they traded for him in December, and locked him into a long-term deal. Currently, he is second in the major leagues in innings pitched (50.0) and tied for first in strikeouts (63). Also, the right-hander has allowed two or fewer runs in six of his eight starts this season.
Glasnow's ability to pitch deep into games cannot go unnoticed. The Dodgers' bullpen currently ranks second in innings pitched this season (142.2). Normally, that would be cause for worry of overuse. However, Glasnow has effectively given them the night off the past few starts so they can get some much-needed rest.
