Two Dodgers pitchers for Tokyo Series revealed
Briefly

The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to begin the regular season with an international series in Japan, marking their second consecutive year with such an event. The excitement is particularly high due to the presence of key players like Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Roki Sasaki. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts expressed optimism about both Yamamoto and Sasaki pitching in the Tokyo Dome, though their roles remain uncertain. With caution surrounding their pitching strategies due to a shortened Spring Training, Ohtani’s absence as a pitcher during the series is confirmed, aiming for a potential return in May.
I think the expectation for both those guys to pitch is real. That's our expectation. But as I say that, you just never know.
Given the shortened Spring Training, the Dodgers take a cautious approach and don't force pitchers to fully stretch out by the early Opening Day date.
What is known is Shohei Ohtani will not pitch for the Dodgers at any point during the Tokyo Series or first month-plus of the regular season.
Cubs manager Craig Counsell previously announced Shota Imanaga would start against the Dodgers in one of the two Tokyo Series games.
