Roki Sasaki Update: Dodgers Hoping For A Return In Late August
Briefly

Roki Sasaki has been on the injured list due to a right shoulder impingement. After a cortisone shot, he resumed throwing and completed a bullpen session reaching 90 mph. The Dodgers are optimistic about his return in late August, although they remain cautious. Sasaki's previous performance included a 4.72 ERA before the injury. While eligible to return from the 60-day list, the team is careful not to rush his rehabilitation process as he builds up intensity.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated, 'He threw one (bullpen session) two days ago, and touched 90, which was great... So, obviously, sticking to kind of a late August date is where we're at.'
Sasaki is eligible to return from the 60-day injured list already, but the Dodgers will remain cautious with his rehab and not rush him back.
