Roki Sasaki believes time on injured list might help solve other trouble
Briefly

The Los Angeles Dodgers placed pitcher Roki Sasaki on the injured list for 15 days due to a right shoulder impingement, which he had been coping with during his starts. He struggled with his velocity and command in the MLB, with nearly equal walks and strikeouts in his first five starts. Sasaki expressed uncertainty about the injury's role in his problems but is optimistic that his time on the IL will allow for recovery and improvement. He previously faced similar issues during his final season in Japan.
Sasaki expressed, "I do feel like this is a good time to be able to do that, so I want to make sure that I'm fully healthy".
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated, "It's hard to tell if it's the main reason why my velo and command was affected" regarding Sasaki's struggles.
