Poteet underwent a Tommy John surgery in August 2022 and as a result missed almost all of the 2023 season, save for two innings of work in one game with Triple-A Omaha in late September.
The Dodgers signed outfielder Austin Beck to a minor league contract. Beck selected sixth overall by the Athletics in the 2017 draft, though his eight games with Oakland's Triple-A affiliate in 2021 represents his highest step on the minor league ladder.
