From November 2021 to January 2024, Mizuhara wired more than $16 million in unauthorized transfers from an MLB player's checking account, identified as Shohei Ohtani's.
Mizuhara, without Ohtani's knowledge, allegedly changed contact information on the bank account, falsely identified as Ohtani, and initiated wire transfers to fund his gambling.
