Hyeseong Kim was activated off the 10-day injured list and added to the Dodgers' expanded September roster. He entered as a ninth-inning pinch-runner against the Pirates and scored on Shohei Ohtani's RBI double. Kim was stranded at an Oklahoma City airport for more than half a day while traveling back from a Triple-A rehab assignment. He went 11-for-34 with a double, a triple and three RBI in nine rehab games, manning multiple positions. Kim went on the injured list July 29 with left shoulder bursitis and carries a .304/.338/.406 line with 12 stolen bases in 59 MLB games. Manager Dave Roberts listed Kim among options for left field.
It was very difficult. You're 100 percent right,
I've never spent so much time at an airport as I did yesterday.
