How the Dodgers Will Observe Jackie Robinson Day
Briefly

Each year, April 15 is a reminder of the brave and courageous impact on the game that Robinson made during his playing days. It's one of the more important moments of each baseball season and fans look forward it to each spring.
Robinson played his first Major League game on April 15, 1947, at Ebbets Field for the Brooklyn Dodgers, becoming the first Black player in MLB in the modern era. His number has been retired by every team in the majors since 1997, and April 15 has been celebrated as Jackie Robinson Day every year since 2004.
The teams will reflect and honor the continued impact that Robinson left on the game.
According to an MLB press release, there will be a special tribute video, titled 'Pasadena Fields,' shown in every ballpark today in honor of Jackie Robinson Day.
