Today is a new day and the Nats woke up in Los Angeles to play at Dodger Stadium tonight on Jackie Robinson Day. Tonight will be the MLB debut for left-hander Mitchell Parker.
If the team uses the days-off to skip a fifth starter, here is a possible upcoming pitching schedule... The Nats have two spots to fill for starters on Saturday April 27 in Miami, and Thursday May 2nd in Texas.
With the days off, they could even option Parker after the game tonight and use the 10-day minimum on an option to bring Parker back.
