Before this year, the Dodgers had already been perennial favorites to make it to the World Series, sitting atop the National League West for 11 of the last 12 years.
Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman did not build this roster for the regular season though. He amassed this much talent to help the team get over the hump in October.
