"I would love to come home to New York," Syndergaard said on the show. "I love the fan base. I love the city. I love the culture, the history, the passion. It's the best place to play."
Syndergaard has not played in the Major Leagues since 2023. His last start was on Aug. 27 with the Cleveland Guardians in 2023.
Syndergaard was signed by the Dodgers as a free agent in 2022. He posted a 1-4 record with a 7.14 ERA across 12 starts.
In an effort to return to the league, Syndergaard is on a weight loss journey, having lost 30 pounds and currently weighing 235 pounds.
