One of the great characters and an unbelievable teammate passed yesterday! Pat Zachry was NL Rookie of the Year in 1976, had 2 successful postseason starts and was a key player in the Tom Seaver trade.
Zachry spent time with the Reds, Mets, and Dodgers, having notable seasons with each team. He concluded his career with a 69-67 record, 3.52 ERA, and 669 strikeouts.
