Former Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star catcher Mike Scioscia was inducted into the Albuquerque Professional Baseball Hall of Fame. Scioscia played two seasons with Albuquerque and 13 seasons with the Dodgers, winning two World Series titles.
Scioscia transitioned into coaching and managing, leading the Anaheim Angels to success with 12 winning seasons, six division titles, and the 2002 World Series championship. He became the Angels' all-time leader in wins and division titles.
Scioscia also managed Team USA in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, guiding them to a Silver medal. He has left a significant legacy in baseball both as a player and a manager.
