LA has engaged in trade talks with Chicago just shortly after it was announced that the Philadelphia Phillies have re-signed starting pitcher Aaron Nola to a massive deal.
If the Dodgers are able to pull off the trade for Cease, they will get a pitcher who won 10+ games in 2021 and 2022 while throwing over 200 strikeouts for the last three years.
