Ben Casparius, a 25-year-old right-hander, earned a promotion to Triple-A Oklahoma City after excelling in Double-A with a 3.32 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 21.2 innings.
Despite struggles last year, Casparius has shown significant improvement, surrendering only two home runs in his five starts this season compared to 15 home runs with a 6.62 ERA last year.
