Former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Orel Hershiser is set to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025, joining other sports and entertainment legends like Prince, Green Day, Jane Fonda, and Bill Nye.
Hershiser, a former MLB pitcher, spent the majority of his 17-year career with the Dodgers, making his debut in 1983. He was a three-time All-Star and National League Cy Young award winner, with his standout year in 1988 where he achieved numerous accolades.
