On Tuesday, all eyes were on Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani and his first spring training game donning the Dodger blue. Although the attention was on Ohtani, and deservedly so, another Dodger accomplished a significant milestone on Tuesday on the backfields.
The Dodgers are not rushing back the 29-year-old after he underwent his second Tommy John surgery in June of 2022. They want to make sure he's back to being himself in October, so they prefer he miss the start of the season as he continues to build himself back up.
