Shohei Ohtani is expected to start hitting on the field today, Dave Roberts said. Would be his first time doing so since surgery.
Ohtani ended the season as the American League home run leader and won the AL Hank Aaron Award, an award given out to the best hitter in the AL based on both media and fan voting. Ohtani also won his third consecutive Edgar Martínez Award in 2023, given to the top designated hitter in MLB.
