Dodgers Injury Updates: Blake Snell, Tony Gonsolin, & Evan Phillips
Briefly

The Los Angeles Dodgers are currently missing several key pitchers, including Blake Snell, Tony Gonsolin, and Clayton Kershaw, due to injuries. Blake Snell is recovering from left shoulder inflammation but has no structural damage, with hopes for a return as early as April 18. Tony Gonsolin is on the 15-day injured list with back tightness, while Evan Phillips continues to deal with a rotator cuff strain. Although uncertain, manager Dave Roberts maintains optimism about the pitchers' recoveries and potential return to the rotation for upcoming games.
Phillips has yet to make an appearance for the Dodgers this season, as he has been dealing with a right rotator cuff strain that kept him off the Dodgers World Series roster in 2024.
A MRI on Snell's left shoulder showed no structural damage, which was the best outcome the Dodgers could have hoped for.
Roberts said, 'I saw him throw some changeups, some curveballs. Throwing flat ground, stretching it out, says he feels really good. I don't know when that's going to be.'
Snell is eligible to be activated as early as April 18, and the Dodgers have been hoping his absence would not be too prolonged.
