The Dodgers made their first big signing of the offseason on Monday and it was bringing back veteran outfielder Jason Heyward on a one-year contract.
Last season, Heyward hit .269 with 15 home runs and 40 runs batted in. The team wanted to get a corner outfielder this offseason, and bringing back Heyward now checks off their need.
