Michael Conforto is hitting .186 and has struggled in virtually all facets since the season began, making his role as an everyday player increasingly untenable. Hyeseong Kim and Hernández are due back soon and Tommy Edman could return, creating multiple options for an early September outfield realignment. Teoscar Hernández has defensive issues in right field, and Andy Pages offers arm strength and range to potentially man right field. The Dodgers could move Hernández to left if Conforto is designated for assignment, and the Kim-Edman group can provide centerfield and infield versatility.

With Hyeseong Kim and Hernández due back in short order, and Tommy Edman potentially not far behind, we could be looking at totally different outfield alignment by early September (if not sooner).
