The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired IF Andre Lipcius from the Detroit Tigers for cash considerations... the Dodgers transferred LHP Clayton Kershaw to the 60-day injured list.
Kershaw was expected to miss a good chunk of time this season. He is expected to pitch later this year, potentially in late July or August if all goes well in his recovery from shoulder surgery.
