Although he is feeling better, Hernández will not be participating in the game against the Detroit Tigers as he continues to recover. Dodgers' manager Dave Roberts emphasized that while Hernández dealt with severe vomiting, the circumstances of his illness were not linked to another player, Mookie Betts, who also faced health issues recently.
Hernández was vomiting and could not keep solid food down, similarly to Mookie Betts' mysterious illness; however, Roberts noted he did not believe the two incidents were connected.
Manager Dave Roberts said, 'We felt it would have happened earlier,' regarding the illnesses of Hernández and Betts, suggesting a separation between the two health issues.
