Los Angeles invested millions in acquiring the right-hander from the Tampa Bay Rays in December. He was slated to play a pivotal playoff role for the Dodgers.
"He's getting off the mound and he'll probably have a more aggressive bullpen session [this week], but we just gotta know, we gotta get going," Roberts told Mike DiGiovanna of The Los Angeles Times.
"We're hopeful," Roberts said. "I think hopeful. I think that there's still a lot of variables, to be certain. But I think everyone in the organization is hopeful."
