Los Angeles Dodgers have not had much success in the Home Run Derby, with several first-round exits and no player winning the event. Joc Pederson was the most successful player, reaching the final round in 2015 but losing by one homer to Todd Frazier.
Max Muncy and Cody Bellinger had some derby success, but neither advanced significantly. Muncy eliminated Javier Báez in the first round in 2018 but was knocked out by eventual champion Bryce Harper. Bellinger defeated Charlie Blackmon in the first round in 2017 but was eliminated by Aaron Judge.
Teoscar Hernández will have Dino Ebel, Dodgers' third base coach, pitch for him in the 2024 Home Run Derby. Ebel has experience pitching in the event, including most recently to Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
