Ryan Dinwiddie announced that quarterback Chad Kelly, recently reinstated after a suspension for violating the CFL's gender-based violence policy, will start Thursday against Saskatchewan.
The CFL suspended Kelly for violating its gender-based violence policy, following an investigation into a lawsuit alleging sexual harassment, which was settled in mediation in June.
Kelly, who was the CFL's most outstanding player in 2023, played a significant role in leading the Argonauts, who have had a challenging start to the season.
The Argonauts have posted a 5-4 record this season, struggling in Kelly's absence, as both Cameron Dukes and Nick Arbuckle took turns as quarterbacks.
