The Los Angeles Dodgers are hosting their annual community service week, the Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour, focusing on wildfire recovery throughout Southern California. Partnering with local sports teams, they pledged over $8 million and organized an event at Dodger Stadium distributing essential supplies to affected families. The 2025 tour includes stops in wildfire-impacted areas like Pacific Palisades, Pasadena, and Altadena. Vice president Kristin McCowan emphasized the importance of community and generosity, aiming to uplift those in need through service activities while involving players and foundation personnel during this initiative.
"Every year we are fortunate to partner with Bank of America to host our annual Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour," Dodgers vice president of government and community affairs Kristin McCowan said in a statement.
"2025 got off to a difficult start, however the days and weeks since January 7th have shown us all the importance of community and the overwhelming generosity of our neighbors.
"This tour will focus on service, hope and joy and will strive to show Angelenos just how much we truly love Los Angeles.
"We owe everything to our fans and this community and we look forward to a week of gratitude as we give back and uplift those that need it most."
