"It's just playoff baseball," manager Dave Roberts explained. "The truth of the matter is that the postseason is different than the regular season. It's about 90 feet and some of that was making sure Shohei had a chance to get up."
Gavin Lux noted, "You need to stay out of double plays, especially when you have Shohei coming up a hitter or two behind you. You want him to have an opportunity with a guy in scoring position."
