Red Robin's launch of its $20 Bottomless Burger Pass on April 17 caused an uproar among burger enthusiasts. Intended to celebrate National Burger Month, the offer was supposed to provide users with daily burgers and bottomless sides in May. However, the website crashed amid heavy traffic, preventing many from purchasing it. Customers reported being charged exorbitant fees or encountering continual errors. The overall experience resulted in extensive criticism of the company's execution, with patrons comparing the difficulty of securing passes to getting Taylor Swift concert tickets.
I spent literally an hour refreshing for the burger pass, what incredible incompetence. After setting an alarm to be up for this, enter my address, and BOOM it's all sold out.
Publicity stunt. Does anybody actually know a real person who acquired a pass?
I was finally able to purchase one for $682 after three previous failed attempts. They charged my card and I got a confirmation number, then later in the day they refunded the amount.
It was literally easier to get tickets to Taylor Swift than it is to get a Red Robin burger pass.
