Arianna Caruso, a significant player for Juventus Women with 237 appearances, has moved to Bayern Munich on loan until the 2024-25 season, with a buy obligation. The transfer marks one of the highest fees ever for a Juventus Women player. Caruso, who became a regular starter and captain, helped Juventus clinch five consecutive Serie A Femminile titles. Her departure, amid Juve's successful campaign, is poignant, as she bids farewell to a club she was integral to since its inception in 2017.
In her farewell post on Instagram, Caruso wrote just three simple words: "FINO ALLA FINE!" It is simple yet totally understandable coming from somebody who gave so much to a club she joined from its very inception back in 2017.
Yet, as Juve sit atop the league table, they're now without Caruso, one of their best and most experienced players despite still being in her mid-20s who also took on the role as captain to begin the new campaign back in the fall.
