Daniele Rugani has signed a season-long loan deal with Ajax after Juventus' new manager deems him outside the project's future plans.
Despite being loaned out for the second time in four years, Rugani ended the last season with commendable stats, making 17 league appearances and scoring twice.
Rugani's contract extension through 2026 allowed Juventus to manage his salary over two years, giving more flexibility while he finds a new club.
There is no buy option in Rugani's loan to Ajax, meaning he is expected back at Juventus in the summer unless unforeseen circumstances arise.
