Porsche's Turbo Charging portable DC fast chargers have been used since 2019 for various purposes like prototype testing and marketing events across Europe, weighing 70,000 lbs with a 2.1 MWh battery capacity and supporting a 3.2 MW load.
The trailers have ten plugs dispensing 320 kW each, with the ability to support 400 amp peak discharging. They can be replenished from the grid in about four hours and can directly charge a car once their battery pack is full, bypassing the battery if needed.
