Portland Public Schools is asking hundreds of custodians to give back part of their paychecks due to an error that occurred when they were overpaid during the winter storm in January.
Nearly 250 custodians were overpaid and the district is terming it as 'overpayments' for the work they did during the ice storm despite schools being closed.
