Microsoft starts rolling out OneDrive's offline mode on the web
Briefly

The new OneDrive offline mode will let users open files marked as available offline, navigate their favorite files and the home section without internet. Users can rename, sort, move, and copy files, which will sync once connected. Performance improvements include up to 3x faster loading with or without an internet connection.
Offline mode utilizes local storage through the OneDrive Sync app, caching files' metadata locally. Microsoft ensures users can set up the offline mode now with OneDrive sync app for Windows or macOS, exclusively for Microsoft 365 business or school accounts.
