We wanted to make sure that we kind of worked around the Sandman Universe so that the shows could exist side by side," he tells Inverse. "When we moved to Netflix, they were like, 'Hey, have you ever thought about doing some Sandman Easter eggs and cameos?' We were like, what a great idea!
"Our show is the Hardy Boys on acid," Yockey explains.
"They're a total double act, Edwin and Charles, they are the yin to the other's yang," Rexstrew tells Inverse. "I think initially it was a product of their circumstance. They're two lonely boys who have evaded death and are meandering around the streets of London."
"We took a stroll and we were like, 'OK, we're going to walk, but nobody can see us,'" Revri adds.
