Briefly

The article recounts the author's experience participating in Genuary, a month-long initiative for artists to create visual art. Although the fast-paced challenge of producing art daily was overwhelming—resulting in some incomplete prompts—the author embraced the opportunity to explore WebGL and PyScript, yielding innovative results. The selected prompts fostered diverse interpretations and helped the author develop valuable skills and tools, including a 3D template for PyScript creations and new syncing abilities with music, making the experience worthwhile despite its intensity.
This Genuary wasn't entirely by the book, yet I gained tons of experience by participating daily and engaging with well-chosen prompts.
The fast pace and high frequency of creating art led to valuable experience but was hard to sustain, leaving some prompts untouched.
The prompts were well-chosen, allowing for diverse artistic responses, and opening up innovative ways to explore WebGL daily.
What I achieved includes a 3D PyScript template, musical synchronization, and interaction with Monome controllers, real advancements for my projects.
