Faces of the Farm Bill in Mississippi: Choctaw Tribal Members - Modern Farmer
Briefly

As Native Americans, we live in rural areas, which means we don't have the ability to be near any kind of grocery stores or farm stands.
Food is an essential need to life. Within our community, we have a high rate of diabetes with all ages within our tribe.
We consider the land our motherland and Choctaw Fresh takes care of it by growing organic.
Access to broadband is also an issue for us because without it we're not able to reach out and do what we need to do out there.
