Bluesky is backing a project that would connect - or 'bridge' - Mastodon requests into Bluesky requests, making consumer apps compatible with Bluesky.

SkyBridge received $800 in grant funding from Bluesky, a second-largest recipient in the current cohort of grant recipients totaling $4,800.

Bluesky aims to encourage developers through an AT Protocol Grant program, distributing $10,000 in grants, with $4,800 already allocated.

Apart from SkyBridge, other grant recipients are working on various valuable projects like moderation services, consumer apps, developer tools, and analytics resources.
