Atari's new 7800 console remake can also play your old Atari 2600 cartridges
Briefly

Atari has teamed up with Plaion to unveil the Atari 7800 Plus, a compact and backward-compatible recreation of the classic Atari 7800 console, available for preorder at $129.99.
The new console, intended for winter 2024 release, features HDMI support, allows players to choose between widescreen and 4:3 aspect ratios, and maintains the retro aesthetic of the original.
The bundle includes a wireless controller reminiscent of the original design and is compatible with both the Atari 7800 Plus and the recently released Atari 2600 Plus.
Only one game, Bentley Bear's Crystal Quest, will be included with the console, with additional ten games available for purchase separately, maintaining 'near-perfect compatibility' with original and third-party titles.
