UUIDs are hexadecimal numbers that can contain values over 340 undecillion. Their compact representation makes them efficient for creating unique identifiers.
Version 4 UUIDs generate IDs using pseudo-random numbers, offering a high degree of uniqueness. The statistical probability of duplication is extremely low.
